
VGHM Nominated for the Luigi Micheletti and ŽIVA Awards
Video Game History Museum has been nominated for two prestigious international museum awards in 2026.
The museum has been nominated for the Luigi Micheletti Award, presented by the European Museum Academy, an independent European network for museum professionals and institutions. The award recognizes innovative museums in the fields of contemporary history, industry, science, and technology.
It is also among the nominees for the ŽIVA Award 2026 in the category of Best Slavic Museum and Heritage Site. Presented by the Forum of Slavic Cultures, the award recognizes excellence and innovation in museum practices and the diversity of Slavic heritage.
The nominations recognize the Video Game History Museum’s work in preserving and presenting video game history, as well as its role in the wider European museum community.
